colors & such

Many have been asking what colors we are going with for the nursery since Chris and I are both slightly opposed to "everything pink" (or at least my mother has been trying to imagine how you can have a room for a little girl without it being pink) So I thought the best way would be to share some photos of some left over fabrics that I have been piecing together to make curtains, dust ruffle, etc (anything to make the dollar go further) Basically: rust, green, cream and brown. Stripes, plain and polka dots. Oh, and the walls are tan:) There you have it mom, all for your viewing pleasure. Lots of love & hugs.

apple pickin' time

Here's a shot of the beautiful apple orchard we went to this past weekend with some friends:) We picked 12lbs so I am excited about baking "everything apple". This is a true sign that autumn has arrived...it's the most wonderful time of the year!!!

20 Weeks

Here's the most recent photo of our daughter...that's right, we're anticipating a girl! This was taken at the beginning of September. All seems healthy as of now and for that we are ever so thankful. Name? We're still at the drawing table on that one, but we'll be letting you know as soon as we come to a final decision (no surprises here!)
