A Hike In the Colors
Every year for Columbus Day weekend we go on a camping trip with friends from our faith community but this year with Amelia and the nighly temps dropping in to the 20's we weren't able to go. Instead the three of us took a day trip to New Hampshire to go for a hike and do a little "leaf peeping". Amelia LOVED being in the woods (she slept nearly the entire time we were hiking) It's in her blood (the love for the woods, not the sleeping part unfortunately!!!)
Modesty, or the Lack There of
If you stop by our house this might be how you're greeted. So if it makes you nervous, call ahead:) She really doesn't like to get dressed. It could be 30 degrees and she could care less. Besides despising getting dressed she also detests socks, hats and blankets. It's going to be a fun winter I can already tell!

Swim Lessons
Chris and Amelia just completed a 6 weeks baby swim class at the YMCA.Though she was the youngest in the class she loved being in the water and with other kids. Thankfully she never got scared or cried so I think she is going to love water:) Yea...just hope she doesn't decide to become a white water raft guide!

Multitasking
Hmm...I wonder where she gets that from??? Poor girl, mom and dad both go 90 to nothing so I guess she didn't have a fighting chance. It doesn't seem to matter what she is doing, it's always two things at once:)
*She stood up for the first time 3 days after her 7 month birthday (Sept. 2nd) and she hasn't looked back since. I'm trying to download some video of her on the move but I can't get it to work. Stay tuned.
